[01-1148] Hello I am trying to find out some info on this AF Towle sterling fork. The pattern name and date? IP: Logged |

Interesting Towle pattern. Don't think I have ever seen it before. By the way, the mark looks like that of A.F. Towle purchased by Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen in 1901. IP: Logged |

I have seen the same pattern, both with and without the high-relief "Gibson Girl" bust, used as a souvenir spoon handle. This is the first fork I have seen. I am surprised to see it; it implies that the pattern was available in a least a few place pieces for use, not just as a souvenir. Wish I could help you with the name. Brent IP: Logged |

Brent- Thanks for your assistance I have a few books but found nothing to this fork. My wife purchased this at a garage sale up in St. Augustine, Florida. Its always fun trying to find out what you have. Maybe someone will see this post and have answer. Thanks again. IP: Logged |
