Hello everyone,

I have just bought two lovely silver spoons, which the previous owner was convinced were American Silver??

They are 6" long, with 2" x 1 1/4" being the bowl. Not sure what they are exactly, not teaspoons or egg spoons. Hope the pics go one first go!

Many thanks,

Sue

Hi Sue,

The spoons are indeed American. The trademark is for the Baker-Manchester Co. of Providence, Rhode Island. The pattern is POLLY LAWTON, and it was introduced in 1935. The size and shape are typical for American teaspoons, which are generally in the 5 1/2 to six inch range.

I hope that helps!
