Hello,

I just purchased this fork? I am not sure what you call it. It was at a garage sale this weekend along with 15 other pieces for a whopping $10.00. Well probably won't find anything like this again.

Would like to know the maker and year.

Thanks for the help.

I believe your fork was made by the Concord Silver Company, Concord, New Hampshire. The company was aparently active from 1925 to 1942.

Thanks Patrick for the reply

What book would you recommend for American silver marks and pattern names?

There's an extensive bibliography of silver publications at Silver Library

One of the most important guides to US silver is:
Rainwater, Dorothy: Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers (Fourth Revised Edition) West Chester, PA: Schiffer Publishing Ltd., 1986. (3rd ed.)

P.S. I believe your fork is known as a lemon fork, and I think the pattern is Old Hampshire introduced c.1925.
