I need to Identify this item & the silver maker. This all silver (not plated) item is a 6" scalloped tray, with fancy 6"high handle with two fancy bowls 3" diameter x 2" high, with no bottom. I assume they held a glass bowl of something (condiments).

The mark on the bottom is a 3 point King Crown, with CSC below it & a Star on each side of the crown.

Thanks
Ken Peters

There was a US company called the Crown Silver Company active in the first half of the 20th century. I don't have any reference to the marks, perhaps someone can confirm or refute this possibility.
