The Subject line is what is engraved by stamp on the bottom of a lovely bowl I picked up at a local thrift shop. I see Rogers & Son existed until 1873. Does this mean this particular bowl was made in that time period. I love this bowl and do not plan to part with it so it would not matter to me when or by whom it was created, but it was a small discovery after the piece was cleaned and polished. By the way it sill had the 'inspected by 9' on the bottom also Ha!
Thanks in advance for any information.
