Does anyone have a photo of this pattern? I think this is what my mother had & we still have it in the family & may wish to add to it.

Thanks!

There is an inactive pattern called "Washington" made by Dominick & Haff. It was first produced in 1905. The end of the handle is rounded. The maker's mark is something like diamond-circle-rectangle.

Similarly, there is a "Washington" inactive pattern by Wallace. It was first produced in 1911. The end of the handle tapers to a rounded point. The maker's mark is usually RW stag &S.

There is also a silver plate "Washington" pattern by International.

Sorry, I can't help you with a photograph.

A photo of your pattern and a closeup photo of the makers marks would help us to help you.

A quick review of our listing in the BOS reveals 6 makers of sterling patterns:

  • Baltimore Silversmiths Mfg. Co. circa 1910
  • Dominick & Haff circa 1900-5
  • Howard Sterling Co. 1894
  • W. H. Manchester & Co. 1895
  • Shreve & Company
  • Wallace Silversmiths 1911
