I'm not sure if this is for you or Mr. Hood re Tiffany but here goes.......on page 215 of Charles Carpenter's Jr. book 'Tiffany Silver", a picture is shown of a pencil & ink sketch done by Frank Shaw for his father Thomas Shaw before he passed away, of a most gorgeous teapot. It notes it is in the Newark Museum. Is it still there, can we see a picture of it? Thank you so much for your time. Stay Safe. Jersey IP: Logged
Ulysses Dietz Moderator Posts: 1265 Registered: May 99	posted 07-19-2005 03:04 PM The Newark Museum does own that drawing, but the teapot it depicts was never made, to my knowledge. Frank Shaw did do much of the chasing on an incredible silver-plated table at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute in Utica, NY, which was shown at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. We only own a plated picture frame that Frank Shaw chased. IP: Logged
