In plotting how I might get some cases of silver on view this year, even if I can't do my whole silver gallery as I'd hoped, this was the list that I've set up. I'd be curious as to feedback from anyone who can visualize it..

This sounds (looks) like a really good survey of 100 years of American silversmithing with all the high points represented.

I'm not sure you have, or want to include Shiebler or Shreve; they have a look that might broaden the whole?

Ah, but we don't have a major piece by either Shiebler or Shreve. Any volunteers?

I do a mean "homage" to a Shiebler spoon - would that count?

Of course, I didn't remind everyone that there is silver already included in other decorative arts galleries in the Newark Museum, as well as in the period rooms of the Ballantine House, and in the American art galleries.
