    A Well-Dressed Table

When we are at Priscilla's house it is always a joy as she dresses every meal with a different set of table linens and dishes. She is an artist and makes it look easy. I need to learn more about the art of dressing a table (tablecloths, place mats, matching napkins, table runners, napkin rings, flatware, dishware, etc).

Please share with us your expediencies/tips as well as photos of your table.

Here is a Priscilla table:

One of the many fun things that Priscilla does with her table settings is to mix and match flatware patterns. You'll notice this in the bottom photo. This makes for interesting table conversation and everyone gets to pick their favorite pattern.

Silverhunter --- I believe this table has been set for Thanksgiving dinner, featuring a turkey as well as other usual dishes (cranberries, squash, dinner rolls, etc). Thanksgiving is always the 4th Thursday in November. And, yes, the turkeys are big and Thanksgiving dinner is one of, if not THE, best meals of the year here in the USA.
