Can anyone provide more information on Franklin Porter from Danvers, MA? Was he related to the Boston Arts & Crafts Society? The only info I have is the limited info in the "Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers" from Rainwater and Redfield.

Thanks,
rat

If you send me your address I will see if I can find a copy the biography of Porter written by his daughter.

Click on the letter icon next to my name. I have found a copy of his bio on one of the book searches. I can send you the info once you email me.

The author of the biography is Helen Porter Philbrick. She also helped her father make some of the silver. It was published in a bulletin from the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem Mass.
