Can anyone help identifying this French maker?

The Dictionnaire des Poinçons Orfèvrerie, 1992 states at page 112 that the makers mark of V.B.was entered by Boivin, 83, rue de Temple, Paris. The hallmark shows two stars with a crescent renversé. The successors to Boivin were Ravinet d'Enfert.

The Dictionnaire also mentions Plasait, 9 place des Vosges, Paris in connection with the hallmark.

Thanks so much for your help and time. The description of the hallmark fits quite well, although I read V.E. first.

Well I am still a bit confused. One thing is that the mark is on a French art nouveau vase. Now my German books tell me that Ravinet d'Enfert was founded in 1882 and did use a different hallmark, well maybe it is a very early piece of art nouveau, but what my German books do also tell me is that Ravinet a rised from the firms of Tonnelier, Lejeune and Henry. I can't find anything about Boivin or Plasait.

Does anyone have additional hints on this hallmark.
