The Joseph Gill company, which did gold plating for us until they closed a year or two ago,had in their emply a silversmith whose last name was Brophy. If I ever knew his first name, I don't now recall it. I saw pictures of several pieces he had made and they were quite stunning. One that has stayed in my mind was a large tureen which sat on several feet made from pink quartz balls.
Has anyone here heard of him or know where he is now working?

That could well be him for the plating company was in Malden, not very far away.
