I have a set of 6 coin silver forks with a hallmark that I can not be sure of.

Initially I thought it might be Samuel Yates but the "& Co" and pseudo marks made me think perhaps it is not. Also the handle design seems to be later than the years he worked according to Belden's.

Can anyone shed any light on these mark please?

Thank you!
Valerie

I don't know the mark, but perhaps it is an alternate version of S. E. Young & Co, working c 1840-1850 in Laconia NH.
