Having reached 1405 included makers, I am about to re-build my American Silversmiths site and I would like to fill as many of the missing maker's marks as possible. I made up a PDF file Missing Marks with the makers and their life dates. I would appreciate any help filling in the gaps. It has been eight years (yikes!) since this post, so it's more than due for an update. The little project now numbers 6,400 as of the 16th last. Unfortunately, the number of missing maker's mark has increased proportionally. As before, I would deeply appreciate any assistance in obtaining examples to fill in the blanks.
