I recently found these two coin teaspoons in a junk shop and have been struggling to identify the maker's mark. As shown in the photo, the mark is a JT, but does not have a pellet or period. The spoons seem to date from approximately the later end of Jonathan Trott's life, so wondered if this might be a variant mark.

A very similar mark is shown in the Heritage Foundation collection (Flynt & Fales) and another (which may be the same) is in Belden. It is always possible for a pellet to be plugged in the punch and show only weakly or not at all. Even is yours is not the same, I think it is a reasonable attribution.
