Polly Posts: 1970 Registered: Nov 2004	posted 09-08-2019 05:59 PM I found a sweet little spoon today that appears to be American c. 1760s-70s, Hanoverian pattern, with a shell back, marked MB. The mark looks a lot like the marks WEV gives on his invaluable site for both Miles Beach and Martin Bull, whose marks look extremely similar to me. WEV, or anyone else: Which one (if either) do you think made my little spoon, and when? IP: Logged

This is a spoon of mine I attribute to him. how does the shell swage compare to yours? None of my Beach pieces have more than an incised drop. IP: Logged

Wev, when would you date mine to? I want to say 1760s--would you agree? IP: Logged
