Have another unknown mark, MB on a serving spoon. It is hard to see in the picture, but there is a full lower part of the B that is pressed against the side of the car-touche. This spoon has a deep bowl and a nice tight shell on the back of the bowl. Hoping that might be a tip-off to an area of mfg. and hence the maker. I've checked the Bull and Beach marks but nothing published matches (that I could find)...

Winterthur attributes a similar mark to Beach, but I have never been comfortable with it.

It is also on a shell-back spoon, but of an earlier design

Do you think that is a pellet between the M and B. It almost looks diamond shape.
