I have a Wallace serving spoon engraved with a date of 1908. Its a lovely floral pattern, probably plate. Identifying marks are "A1" and "Pat. June 6, 02". Any suggestions?

More importantly, perhaps, are there any standard web databases where I could look this up? I have found all the British Hallmark databases, of course, but few for American pieces.

In 1902 Wallace patented two silver plate patterns, Troy and Floral. The most prolifically produced pattern was the multi-motif Floral pattern. If there is a flower in the design of the pattern then it is most likely the Floral pattern. If not then I would guess that it might be the Troy pattern. Posting a photo would help us to really identify the pattern.
