I found an interesting creamer at a local garage sale, it is marked on the bottom "Meriden B. Company" it also bears a scale sign and the number 18. Does anyone know where I can get information on this company, where they are or were located and/or the year made, etc. I have searched everywhere I know of and I have had no luck. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have.

Rainwater's "Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufactures."

Get the new fourth edition. Or go to any Borders, have a cup of latte, and look over pages 213 & 214.
