vallerie Posts: 5 Registered: Sep 2002	posted 09-13-2002 06:05 PM I purchased (what I think is)a silver water pitcher 40 years ago at a rummage sale. I have never been able to find out any information regarding maker. I can not get my &%$ digital camera to work with my new NT operating system, so can't attach a picture of the marks. The base of the pitcher is an oval. Each section of the base has a marking, as follows: the letters: BSCEP symbols: +* numbers: 5156 symbols: 1. winged lion with front paw raised 2. this ones tough to explain lookslike a crown on a flower (of sorts) 3. another tough one... looks like a castle turret with an arm holding a hammer coming out of it. Any help would be appreciated. IP: Logged
