This mark appears on a set of ivory handled knives and forks. Does anyone recognize it? Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forums.

It is a mark of Joseph Rodgers and Sons of Sheffield, England. The mark was registered in 1822. The firm began electroplating in 1860 and is known as a quality manufacturer of cutlery.

Here's an interesting knife they made in 1851 for the Great Exhibition in London. The open knife was about 30 inches long and had 75 blades and tools! The handle is covered with carved mother of pearl scales.
