Hello, I am trying to find information on a W M MOUNTS, I have just obtained a tea service which has on the bottom E.P.BRASS a crest with an M in it, another crest this a nautical looking M and a crest with a crown and the letter C under it. I have spent several hours on the internet but an yet to find anything close, can you direct me on where to go.
Thank You for your help.

Hi John,

W.M.Mounts usually stands for "White Metal Mounts", meaning that the handles, knobs, etc. are made of plated pewter or something similar, rather than the brass (in your case) that the body of the piece is made of. Having a hard time visualizing your marks (especially a nautical M), can you supply a picture?

Cheryl

Hello,

I have recently asked for some marking identification and I was referred to Cheryl of dragonflywink e-mail address. I have sent her the drawings of the marks but the e-mail comes back as undeliverable. Is it possible you can forward the attached to her or is there someone else who might be able to tell
me what these markings represent.

Thank You for your time and co operation.
