I have been searching all night and this morning for something similar to what I have. I have finally found it. I just read a message from someone else about The Original Rogers Brothers flatware. I have a set that was my great-grandmothers, and I know nothing about it. I have the gold seal as well with the three faces, and the " Only the International Silver Company Makes Original Rogers Silverplate." Etc. However my design is different as well as the print on the back. *ROGERS & BRO. REINFORCED PLATE [I][S] That is all it says on my set. The design also bleeds through to the back. It looks somewhat like a fan at the tip. It has three points to it. On the stem I could say that it looks somewhat like a tulip. Can you help? I know this is very vague, I'm new at this sorry.

The various Rogers marks have been in use for over 150 years and cover hundreds of patterns. A picture would really help us make a determination.

All that is certain from your description is that your piece is later than the creation of International Silver (the mark I S) in 1898. The design, however, could be earlier as Rogers Bros first started their silverplate business in 1847.
