My grandmother gave me a tea set that had been in her family, and it has marks like "M W & S" and "Mark Willis Sheffield EPBM" on it. Can anyone help me learn where and when it was made & sold? Thanks.

EPBM means electro-plated brittania metal - ie, a type of silverplated pewter - popular in the second half of the 19th century and largely replaced by EPNS, electroplated nickel silver, by the First World War.

Mark Willis also made sterling silver items, two pieces on the internet are dated 1896 and 1911. I guess this is the approximate timescale of your tea set.
