dontknowmuch Posts: 1 Registered: Oct 2004	posted 10-25-2004 11:10 PM Our family has a collection of large and small forks which we believe are English silverplate from the mid-1800's. The hallmarks are: Top - WP in a diamond within a crown shape - Sideways B - Sideways sheaf? - Sideways crown or some kind of head? - Big R smaller D (Does that mean Registered?) I think these would be called fiddle handle. We also have 4 spoons made by the same WP, but a slightly different pattern with slightly different markings. Those markings are: WP in diamond in crown B Fleur de lis Sheaf ? RD Thanks for any help on this. IP: Logged
