Hi there,

I will try to explain first has "Henry VIII old style" next three shields with 1st showing man with helmet, next looks to be hammer nail (?) last has deer or elk. Under this is E.P.B.M (does this stand for Electro-Plated Brass Metal ?)and last H5.

It's a Serving Bowl quite large with beautiful work on lid grapes and vines and do believe Bakelite topper (also great shots of this) So if anyone can help would like to know who Maker might be and if Pattern is Henry VIII, what year, etc.

Was lucky last time when posted, so trying again !

Thanks Everyone
Cheers

Sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable in th plate department, but I think that EPBM stands for Electro Plated Britannia Metal, a soft pewter type metal decorated by pressing, which I'm told unfortunately is the worst kind of plated metal. People prefer a good thick silver plating on a hard durable metal, especially on tea sets but I don't know how it affects value on decorative dishes.
