I have silver fish server and would like to know where it was made. It has a makers mark on the face, by the handle with the initials G A B then what looks to be a small o then the initials NS. Would appreciate any information.
Thanks,
Carroll

NS on a piece of silver almost always stands for Nickel Silver. It is difficult to say where your piece is from without seeing the mark, but it may well be Scandinavian; I have seen a number of Scandinavian fish servers and other pieces made of Nickel Silver and marked NS.

Hope thisd helps a little!
