Denise Smith Posts: 4 Registered: Jul 2005	posted 07-19-2005 09:43 AM I am trying to get someone to help me find an approximate date on a silver or most probably a silver plated piece with the following Hallmarks on the back: The letters are inside a shield and there is a head of a bird after the letters, the letters are K S In. Apparently the piece was by the Forbes Silver Co. but I have no clue how to find the approximate date of the piece. Is someone able to help me find a date for the hallmarks. ANY help is appreciated. I can also tell you that the piece has a figure of a strange lion on the lid, the lower portion of the lions body appears to be sort of like a mermaid?? ANY help is GREATLY appreciated. IP: Logged
