I came upon this little book sometime ago and just recently found it in some old boxes that I was looking at. It really is a great book for anyone that collects the Vintage line, Moselle or the like plus it has an interesting section on what the author calls Odd and Ends-Bodkins.
The book I have is what is called a working copy as everything is there, but it is really falling apart.

The section on Odd and Ends has quite a bit of information on what the author thought serving pieces were used for. The one thing I come away with is that an awful lot of asparagus serving pieces were made that could also be used for serving other items.

All in all it is a very interesting book that was published in 1971. I must be getting old as that seems just like yesterday.

I don't think I have such a fun box. Thanks for sharing. It does seem like 1971 was just yesterday smile .
