Scott Martin Forum Master Posts: 11520 Registered: Apr 93	posted 02-14-2006 09:49 AM I don't know why but in the last month many members (old and new) seem to have taken to losing their password and user ID's. Please don't e-mail until after you have used the Forget your password? link. In any of the public forums wherever you are prompted for your password there is a link to Forget your password?. You will need to know the email address you registered and you need to be still getting email at that address. (Note: If your e-mail address is changing then before you stop receiving e-mail at the old address please remember to update your user profile with the new address.) Clicking on the Forget your password? link presents this screen: Enter your registered email address and click the Request User Name/Password Now button. The response is usually within minutes but occasionally your ISP's (or our) mail servers can take their time so the wait could be 24 hours. Passwords and User ID's are case sensitive and white space sensitive. So: "Name" is not the same as "naMe" "Password" is not the same as "Password " (note the trailing spaces) "First Name" is not the same as "First Name" (note the extra space between the names) Please don't be surprised if I don't reply to your e-mail often I only see the email when I take the time to spot check my SPAM. *Use the Forget your password?* link.** IP: Logged

You do this by updating your User Profile. Use the profile link. The profile link is found on the SSF forum�s index page, a forum�s subject index page and the thread/post page: IP: Logged
