I am hoping to be able to identify the maker and pattern. The mark on the bottom of this piece and the others appear to be (from left to right):
-- a king with a crown in a shield

-- a man in profile one arm raised to the right in a oval (maybe heralding)

--a knight in profile facing right in a square with a slight point on the bottom

--and a lion with an "L" in a shield over it in a slightly squared oval.

The words silver on copper are under the symbol.

The top of the sugar dish, tea pot and coffee pot each have a design with leaves and pears (or berries).

Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hi and welcome to the Silver Salon Forum.

If you could please do a few things we might be able to help. Please go back and read the big yellow box near the top of this page where it says "Please Read Before You Post". New folks here are kindly asked to provide a self introduction to include just a few bits of information such as are you a collector and if so what do you collect, and please tell us the reason you are seeking information on your silver service. Also, it really is necessary to post some nice clear photos of your objects - both overall so we can see the forms and details, and clear close up photos of any markings. There are so many similar markings that a verbal description does not provide enough information. Also, this forum is about collectors sharing their love of silver and seeing photos of what is being discussed is central to the enjoyment and education of everyone here.

Thanks.
