Hi,
Sorry to bother you…but, we have a Metal Dish made by Martin Hall and Co (1854-1866).
Inside the dish is an emblem that has a 13 Star American Flag, Union Jack and some kind of bird…we do not think it is an eagle…but it might be. Below this emblem are the words STATE LINE.
I have looked through several web sites trying to find some reference… but nothing.

Was wondering if you could have a look for me or direct me to someone who would know.

I have tried the Library of Congress in Washington and they could not find anything.
My opinion is it has to do with the Northwest Boundary Commission 1857-1861.
I’ll send other pictures with hallmark and emblem if you are interested.
Thanks
