I'm a 69 year old man and I live in San Francisco, CA. I began collecting silver in 1990, and my interests are primarily in American sterling flatware patterns, especially the Watson Company's Lily, Orchid, and Wild Rose patterns. I also collect Victoria by Dominick & Haff.

I would happily post a picture of Frank Whiting's Hagie here, but I just tried and the website would not let me.

Well, about 28 years ago I got a call from a couple of nice ladies selling a few small silver items. Among them were some very tiny demitasse spoons by Frank Whiting in Hagie. I've wanted to collect more over the years, but the pattern is scarce. The Jewelers Quarterly book of patterns says that it is a complete line pattern. I have managed to land some pieces over the years, but not much.

I have discovered that "Hagie" is the name of a form of Japanese Clover?), so this pattern fits right into the middle of the Japonesque craze in the late 1800s. Does anyone know anything about Hagie? [snip]

We couldn't duplicate the error so we went looking and found this post about the error.

You wont believe what I just discovered. I tried everything again and it still gave me the error message.
I was baffled by this as everything worked 100% with you.

I then deleted and flushed my browser.
Both Internet and Firefox, but it did exactly the same.

I then went to another computer on my network, and tried everything again (It did not work! - Still gave me the same error.

I then thought about it and plugged in another internet card into my pc.
IT WORKED 100%

Its down to this that my current ISP seems to have build up a cash on my site.
AHHHH, how frustrating is that?!

I hope that this post will help future users and I am glad that I have discovered the problem.

For all new readers who has this same problem.... You will have to contact your ISP who supply you with your internet connection and request that they flush their cach file. If they are difficult about it, you can tell them that it works fine when you use another ISP connection but not when you use there service. If they still give you a hard time, tell therm that you will discontinue the service and go to another ISP if they don't attend to it. They will usually get a fight and try and assist.

This would have saved me a ton of frustration if I only had discovered this earlier.

I tried with IE 9 and no problem

Emptied Chrome (my regular browser) cache and problem solved.

So no problem anymore.

I am interested to understand what might have caused this problem. Any theory?

In cpg1.5.22 the form token check was added to the flash uploader:

Added form token check to flash uploader

Your cached version doesn't contain the required form token, thus the check must fail. Depending on your cache settings it probably will fail again soon.

We don't support members PC's but we think if you give CCleaner a try, it might help. The free version should be all you need.
