Hello, I have a silver-plated vase that is now fashioned as a table lamp. I came across these marks on the side. Can anyone assist me in identifying them? Thank you so much!

I work for an auction house and I came across this item while cataloging. I was interested in learning more about it based on the marks on the side.

Here is an image of the marks I uploaded through your image gallery. Thank you for sharing that link by the way!

We welcome all with personal interest in silver.

You said you read and agreed the Guidelines. Clearly you haven't read the Guideline. From the Guidelines:

quote:
Dealers/sellers with questions about, and an academic interest in, the object(s) they have for sale should prepare their post in advance (take photos and a prepare a write up) but wait to submit the post until after the business/sale is concluded or the conflict is resolved. This will ensure that there is no conflict with the SSF Guidelines.

For me this marks looks typical for historism pseudomarks (ca.1900) like Hanau or other regions.
