I have a bowl with grapes that has a mark of W with a wreath around it and the number 2142. It belonged to my aunt and do not know anything about it. Do you?

Welcome to the forum, Rosie. The maker might be Woodside Sterling Co. But it is hard to tell without a picture of the bowl and the marks.

I do have photos--just not aware of posting them up according to the directions. I do see that you have hit it right.

It is Woodside.

Does reticulated mean that the design is raised?

I have a dish/bowl that is 7 inches in diameter and has a grape design. It's in fantastic shape.

Hello Rosie and welcome to the forum.

Reticulated means a cut out design, kind of like a lace doily. I think the term you are thinking about is repousee which is where a design is raised up on one side by pressing or hammering the metal from the opposite side.
