I received these flatware pieces in an inheritance and would like to know where they were made and about what year.

They look like American silver to me, because they don't have the fancy marks.

We really need a picture to be of much help to you. If they are American silver rather than silverplate, they should say "sterling" next to the marks, although this may not be universal. If you have a digital camera, posting photos is free and easy. See instructions above.
