Hello! Just found this forum and live it so far!!
I currently make spoon and coin rings.
Spoon rings mostly out of silver plate, but have recently picked up some sterling.

One I found has a Russian hammer and sickle, with 916 (assuming 916/1000 silver?)
I cannot find much info on this and was hoping someone here knew!!
Back appears to say "5 TJ (I'm sure it's something in Cyrillic) followed by small hammer sickle mark and 916

I have to figure out how to size photos without a computer, all I have right now is a mobile...

Thank you!!
Here is a link to the same spoon on eBay

Hi Dwellcome, welcome to the forum.

From your post it seems that you make rings out of old silver plate and sterling spoons. You don't mention what you do with the rings but would it be correct that you sell them? If so this forum has as one of its rules in its Guidelines that everyone agrees to when they sign up that we are here solely for the academic interest in learning about silver and that asking for information that will be used for commercial purposes is not permitted.

Best regards,
Kimo
