Hello all,

I just cleaned a piece that I had picked up at a thrift store many years ago and found a marking on the bottom of it.

It looks like a small tray that may have been used for tea, or possibly on a dresser for perfume bottles.

The markings on the bottom are as follows....

P S Co EP and then there is a shield/crest with 3 sections

Does EP mean electro plate?

I am truly a novice and am curious.

Thanks for any info about this.

Hi Paula.

Could you please scroll up just a little bit and take a look at the big yellow box with the flashing red letters that say 'Please read before you post' then add the requested self introduction to your posting? Also, as it asks in that yellow box, could you please post some nice clear photos of the overall tray, any detailing on it, and also a closeup of any markings that are on it? There is a link in that yellow box that has detailed steps on how to post photos to this website.

We have few rules on this forum but we ask everyone to please comply with them. Basically these are to please introduce yourself before your first questions, to post nice clear photos accordining the instructions, never use this forum to conduct research on something you intend to sell, have appraised, or similar commercial purposes, and finally to be nice.

Once that is all completed, I am sure there are folks here who would be happy to answer some or all of your questions.

Regards,
Kimo

Sorry kimo

I didn't mean to not comply with the rules.
I can't seem to find my cell phone so no way to post a picture.

This was mostly a spontaneous search when I cleaned the piece and found the markings.

It's not really that important at this time, but if I find my cell phone, I will send a picture in the future.

Thanks much and have a great day.
With gratitude,
paula
