I am in possession of a beautiful gucci link chain with hallmarks I cannot decipher (apologies, following picture is best I have

Some features:
- 4 stamps (2 on each side) on link alongside clasp
- One side has "925" and what appears to be "13VI". The other side has 2 motifs: one has a shape much like a pennant (although I cannot make out the detail inside) and a second that can best be described as a bow and arrow!
- The gucci links are not the modern flat styles (they are more lozenge shaped with rounded edges)
Any assistance in identifying the origin and dating of this piece would be greatly appreciated

"13 VI" is the Italian maker's registy number of Giovanni Balestra & Figli [Sons] of Bassano del Grappa, Vicenza, Italy. Better known as Balestra 1882 S.P.A, they are quite large chain manufacturers, still in buisness. The "13 VI" mark was issued on 18 Mar 1968, but they date back at least as far as 1957, when they were granted a precious metal working license. (They may be even older, but I doubt your chain pre-dates 1968 because of the 13 VI mark.) The other marks are probably retailer's marks, whose identity will take some more digging.

Hope this helps!
