My mother recently gave me three figurines. They are marked 925 sterling silver Germany and another marked in a circle. The figure all have what appear to be ivory heads. On figure is the pied piper, another looks like a queen and another a knight. There are small stones on the base of each. I would really love to know anything about them.

The mark in the circle is the key here; that would be the maker's mark. Without any more information, identification is impossible. I will say that just recently I catalogued a pair of figurines as you describe - a king & queen with ivory faces - by the firm of Ludwig Neresheimer of Hanau. (Their mark was a stylized lowercase "n".) Perhaps you can post a photograph of the items and marks.

Thank you Blackstone. I wish I could get a picture of the mark. I was however better able to read the mark, it is a circle, with a X on top of the numbers 165. The figures stand about 5" tall. They stand on a base, that has small stones.
