This is the second time (I got snipped on the first) I have attempted a picture so I sure hope it works. I have a serving fork with this marking. I have looked into the French silver and it looks like it might be French because of the profiled head. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh...I don't know if it matters but the WB is on the left hand side if you are looking at the back.

The woman's head is the Hungarian purity mark for 800 silver, adopted after 1937

So I am assuming the WB is the maker's mark? does the 3 (I think it is a 3) under the head mean anything. this is so much fun!

As wev wrote: 3 = 800/1000
2 = 900/1000
1 = 935/1000

The numbers under the head explain the different silver contents.
