I wonder if a member may be able to identify a makers mark on a silver lidded glass/crystal compote with matching tray and spoon.

The spoon has a five pointed star with 135 PA and 800 stamped on the back, there is no mark on the cover. The matching tray has a similar five pointed star and 135 PA in a small rectangular impression on the iside of the tray with 800 stamped beside in an oval.

Metal cover and tray are quite thin and impressed with identical embossing around the edges.

Thank you - (and I did have a little trouble finding this new area, having previously posted directly to the continental forum)

Thank you for that reply
I will follow up that lead - mind you the Italian heritage is a good possibility as the charity shop where I purchased the set has many Italian families.

Hopefully later I will get to be able to post photographs of some of the Continental silver I have collected.

Thanks again

Ken
