This is an interesting 1835 spoon which I know nothing about. There are two hallmarks on the back side of the stem. One hallmark appears to be a "warthog", pig or some type of rodent. The second is very small, but may be a pail.
There is also the number "400" opposite the 1835 date on the outside bowl of the spoon. Also on the outside of the bowl is a king's crown and a crest of 7 castles and 5 shields in the center. Also on the outside perimeter of the bowl is "MARIA II DG . . REGINA".
On the inside perimeter of the bowl is "IN HOC SIGNO VINCES". Also on the inside are four flowers.
On the center of the stem is "LISBOA".
Near the tip of the stem is a spanish galleon and a castle at the extreme tip of the stem.
