Thank you, Venus. I found that shooting the silver on a sunny day under the shade of a dark patio umbrella gives great lighting without glare.

This from an earlier thread is what the "zig-zag" mark usually looks like:

Thank you very much.

I want to state for the record that when I started this subject/thread I was interested in only history; not selling. Just recently, however, I decided that I wanted to buy several pieces of 17thC English silver which requires that I sell several pieces of my 18thC English silver and other items. I will be selling this piece of crude Spanish colonial chocolate-cup silver; using the history offered to me by the British Museum and my personal research. I have no intention of using the info offered by the Silver Salon Forum.

Thank you and goodbye.

my thoughts ran in the direction, that they may have been the same person, using two different nics....and then wondered, probably very far from the track, if they were MK.
I really thought everyone had been nice to the 2 people who left. We all think what we own is a woderful rare find. But if we don't want to find out what it really is, then we maybe should not ask...

Venus you are correct. The posters both originate from the same point, Los Angeles, California, and they share a few other pieces of “Internet information exhaust”. Most people don’t realize just how much information they convey just by connecting to the internet.

We have blocked their posting privileges. They can appeal via email if they feel we were incorrect in our analyst.
