I have a set of French table silver, marked SAVARY, first standard minerva, a rabbit or hare in a diamond lozenge. Can anybody give me more information about the maker please? I have searched the web, but cannot find any information.
The set comprises of 6 coasters, 12 finger? bowls and 6 plates about 10 to 11 kg total weight.

Are you able to post a picture of the maker's mark? This would help identification.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding photos.
Hopefully I have now done this with a picture of a coaster which shows the pattern of the set, along with a close up of the hallmarks. To the left of the hallmarks, there is also stamped SAVARY PARIS.
I have a gut feeling that the set was made about 1920 - 1930.
Comments from anybody please please please.
All I require is a history of this maker.

I didn't find that mark on the French ministry of culture's website on marks, although there is a little information there on the Savary firm.
