Can one tour the G. Jensen Silversmith site in Denmark?

Who owns the silversmith now? And do they concentrate on reproduction of past designs? Or are they producing new designs?

Thanks for enlightening this newbie to Denmark silver design!

confused Apparently the guided tours are of the retail stores only and not the Jensen silversmithy (making) shops. frown

Giuded tours of Georg Jensen Silversmithy is not possible. However at the same premises as the silersmithy we provided guided tours of The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory, also part of the Royal Scandinavia group.

A pity they are not taking advantage of educating the public and increasing the interest for silver..... Great craftsmanship and limited accessibility... I don't understand why there is the reluctance to allow guided tours...
