Greetings - first time posting.

Wondering if anyone could enlighten me on this mark: .

I'm told that it is of Iranian (or Persian) origin, approx. late 19th century.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Regards,

Persian silver is not my expertise and I can shed some light on one of the marks. The 84 is a common silver quality mark used in many different countries. My recollection is that it defines a purity of silver equal to 87.5%. None of the books I own have Iranian marks. I own a Persian decanter bearing a similar 84 mark at it's base.

Similar marks with the 84 were used early 20c in and around Tabriz.
