What appear to be Dutch control marks are near the front edge of the bowl, which figures, as it's very much in Dutch style. They should give you the date too, but can't be seen clearly in the photo. Around 1900 for a wild guess... IP: Logged

adelapt Posts: 418 Registered: May 2003	posted 05-28-2004 04:05 AM It is silver, but not sterling. It's .833 standard rather than the sterling .925, so somewhat lower in silver content. If you search for "Dutch" in the continental forum, you'll find more info. IP: Logged
