Hi,

I have a tray, the only 2 marks on the back

    COHR
    3 spires
The 3 spires I believe to represent Denmark silver with the number 59 beneath.

Can someone help me establish whether its solid silver or silverplated? I have a feeling its plated but help clearing up the matter would be much appreciated.

It is solid silver alright - that's the only thing that the three towers with year underneath is used for.

Also, Cohr has other distinct marks for silverplated items.

Two towers would indicate silverplated.
