I would appreciate any help I can get on identifying the markings on a tea pot/coffee pot I have. I am not sure if it is silver but looks like it.

The markings impressed on the bottom are what appears to be a torch inside an oblong box under that is an inverted triangle with DANA above, inside the triangle is DFA with a smaller upside down bell or goblet under that. Also has the following numbers 3090 and then 32.

I would appreciate your help and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hopefully some of our European members can help on this piece.

Your teapot is Danish, and the torch is seen on silverplated items. Have seen the DANA/D.F.A. mark in several different forms, sometimes including the two-tower Danish silverplate mark. The most information I've come up with is that it's from a firm in Copenhagen called Dansk Forsolvningsanstalt. The one piece that I still own has the "DFA" and "DANA" well separated, wonder if DANA is a maker and DFA a shop or cooperative of some sort. My notes also show DANA using a swan as a silverplate mark.
